Dr. Casey Tarwater
(PT, DPT, Cert. DN - Clinical Director)
Casey earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Wingate University. Prior to her studies at Wingate, Casey attended Appalachian State University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science.
Growing up, basketball and soccer were a passion for Casey. Seeing teammates endure and rehab various injuries peaked her initial interest in physical therapy. She enjoys working with people of all ages and places focus on optimizing rehab through functional movements. Casey emphasizes individuals taking an active role in their care to return to functioning and performing at their highest level.
Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with family and friends in the Charlotte area, throwing the frisbee with her dog Piper, cheering for the Carolina Panthers, and visiting the mountains whenever she can.
